Referred To

Edit (Referred To)

This lets you create/edit records for doctors to whom you make referrals.

When you select this option, the system will display the records on file. Double-click the desired record or click Insert to add a new one.

Report for One (Referred To)

This provides a report of all the referrals you have made to a particular practitioner.

  1. When you click the Change button, the system displays accounts on file. Double-click the desired account to select it.
  2. The system then asks for a range of dates you want to search for referrals made to that practitioner.
  3. Last of all, it asks if you want the report to include the names of the patients who were referred.

    If you check this box, the name and referral date of each patient you referred to that practitioner between the range of dates you specified will be included on the report.

NOTE: If you enter your typical response to this question at the Report Settings screen, the system will default to this response whenever asking this question. In most cases, you could then simply click Print to accept this default when the question is asked.

If you always want to respond to this question in the same manner, indicate so on the Report Settings screen and the system will not ask this question each time you run this report.

The report will tally how many referrals you made to that practitioner during the specified time period and how many referrals you have made to that practitioner overall.

NOTE: The "number of referrals made" figures include only those patients who are still active. Referred patients who have since been deleted or archived ARE NOT included.

Report for All (Referred To)

This provides a report of all the practitioners to whom you have made referrals during a specified time period.

  1. When you select this option, the system asks for a range of dates you want to search for referrals.
  2. It then asks if you want the report to include the names of the patients who were referred.
  3. If you check this box, the name and referral date of each patient you referred between the range of dates you specified will be listed under the practitioner to whom he was referred.

    NOTE: If you enter your typical response to this question at the Report Settings screen, the system will default to this response whenever asking this question. In most cases, you could then simply click Print to accept this default when the question is asked.

    If you always want to respond to this question in the same manner, you can indicate so on the Report Settings screen and the system will not ask this question each time you run this report.
